Yes. It’s another naked… a modern classic. Another Suzuki Inazuma. Another muscle bike. Whats more – this build was actually released couple years ago (end of 2014). I remember it quite precisely – since at the time I was working hard on my own Inazuma project.
But there is a good reason why this GSX is featured now. I needed to change the order of planned posts to have it published ahead of schedule. As a friend on facebook just yesterday published some exciting news in the group I follow:
It spent all this time in the hands of its builder in Lublin area (Poland). It made around 5k km during these 3 years.
Based on 2000′ Suzuki GSX 1200 Inazuma (it’s not as most of the blogs wrote: a GSX-R). With around 50k km on the clock currently – which is like a warm-up for this legendary oil-cooled engine. Bodywork (tank and seat) are 100% handmade. The paint job is complete – custom painted with not a single sticker anywhere on the bike.
Rear suspension is a conversion from twin to a single central shock – from Honda Hornet 900. Equipped with K&N filters with re-jetted carbs. Many new parts, installed during almost full restoration process (tires, brake pads etc).
For more info feel free to contact Dawid on Facebook.
Considering the base cost and amount of work required for this custom bodywork – price is very reasonable.
(Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post or anything of this kind. This blog is not turning into “cafe racer for sale” portal. I just felt like it’s a good moment to feature a unique motorcycle that I honestly admire. I’m glad that it’s still on the road and keep my fingers crossed for the future owner.)
