A few weeks back I visited Wroclaw (Poland) – 4-hour drive from Warsaw, for a small, but a very climatic venue – Kustom Konwent (polish phonetic spelling of a Custom Convent phrase). It was the 5th edition of this show. We went there to see what were they about this year, and to see the city 🙂
This event is not really about British / Cafe Racer custom scene.
It was more of an American feel
Choppers, Harleys, muscle cars and pickups. The craftsmanship of the tattoo artists that had their section and other manufacturers of clothes or custom bike parts.
Not really my thing, but hey… some old and custom machines were definitely worth seeing live. I always wanted a pickup 😉 Maybe… that’s a big maybe… I’ll manage to buy an old Van – with some V8 and American badge sometime soon (like in few years) – to convert it into a camper… To travel with a motorcycle packed behind, around Europe. That’s a thought. But for now – I need to be happy with just watching. And what’s most important – I could meet the positively twisted people that were crowded in this old tram depot in a pretty and memorable section of this beautiful city.
The big highlight of the event for me was the Ducati Scrambler by Eastern Spirit. Standing in the RideToBe box. It was great to see this thing live… again, not so long after it won the Scrambler Ducati Custom Rumble 2018. Great job by Eastern Spirit! And big thumbs up to Mariusz (author of RideToBe blog), for showcasing the build and promoting this Polish custom workshop.
I even had a chance to hear it (check out this Instagram video) 🙂
So enjoy a small photoshoot I managed to capture on this “mostly” sunny day.
