This build is actually a representative of a short series motorcycle line- by Lucky Custom from Argentina. It’s their 67th project, but 6th (and the latest) of “The Cobra” series. And I have to say – that this build is fantastic. They made these a kind of their “trademark” series.
I usually tend to be more substance over style kind of guy, but… these white painted tires 😉
The donor bike was a Honda NX400 Falcon
A smaller brother of the NX650. Lucky Custom seems to have a weak spot for Honda dual sports family and converting them into Supermoto/Tracker… inspired custom builds. They found a way to get rid of the ugly plastic fuel tank and a general line of a dual sport and converted it into a stylish wheelie machine.
The fuel tank is handmade, the frame is completely rebuilt. Only what’s necessary is left on the motorcycle. There are no fenders, airbox, even mirrors… Headlight and stoplight are LED. The seat is brat style flat and short. The whole thing is definitely under 140 kgs of weight.
The single cylinder motor producing about 30 bhp is not a “power naked”, but its torquey enough to lift the wheel of this machine. Speaking of wheels – silver spokes complement these fat tires perfectly. I actually had a hard time figuring out if these actually are Bridgestones… especially the rear one. But it actually is – a not road legal, Battlax racing tire for a wet surface. The thread pattern looks impressive.
One of my inspirations for building a scrambler/tracker next year… Also: check out their “Cobra #5” – black and yellow build.
