This thing produces 230 bhp, so the name fits perfectly
The engine when stock is quite a creature. I think it’s one of the most brutal 1-litre inline fours from that era. When You push the displacement up to 1300ccs, upgrade the internals, tune it and force feed it with an F40 turbo, You know that guys from Madrid are not fooling around.
The bodywork is all metal – no paint single piece – monocoque. Extended nicely over a longer swingarm, which prevents wheelies (that is something You should consider when You have a 230 bhp with a bonus turbo lagged power delivery). The front forks came from Yamaha FZR600. A surprising choice to source the front end to such a no-compromise machine? Not exactly. They were consciously chosen for being light and reliable. They don’t need to cope with the terrain and road surface – they need to survive the drag strip. Therefore only one small disc brake…
The finished product – grey, raw metal with details made of leather and handmade engravings to match the style. I wish I could see it race in some vintage motoring event! Maybe not on this kind of dusty bullfighting arena…
