FCR Original are the Triumph Guys. Check out their portfolio to see that there is only one brand… and one model on display. The Bonneville, today, comes in many forms.
In this post, I would like to present You
The Green Legend Bonneville
A brilliant build that is a custom Scrambler from a stock 2016 Triumph Bonneville 900. The build inspired by history and nature. A donor bike born in 1956 is, almost without interruptions, produced in this classic form. This makes it a 70-year-old design like wine. Compared to sometimes hideous modern machines, it looks even better as it gets older.
This particular model can relate to the famous Steve McQueen in The Great Escape. I wouldn’t risk a statement that this movie and the personality was a reason behind the Bonneville success, but it certainly didn’t do any harm to the brand.
The Green Legend can be described in two words. Uniqueness and authenticity. A motorcycle that embodies the Scrambler genre, with shiny accessories and personality. Whole attention and know-how of FCR are concentrated in this uncommon and one of a kind motorcycle.
“The Green Legend” tank was painted with iconic
British Racing Green colour.
Spoked wheels are looking heavy with chrome, just like the side panels on the tank. The other custom elements are visibly bare metal. Exhaust pipes resemble those installed on stock Triumph Scrambler that makes it stand out so much against other Bonnies. The black leather upholstering and metal number plates are the final touches.
The only thing that I would consider changing – is the front fender. Seems too bulky and close to the tire. As the motorcycle has offroad tires, it would definitely be more practical if it was placed higher.
